"Found Just Fabrics and I'll never look back"
Hi, my name is Anita, and I'm 67 years old. I was made redundant at 59, and after many years of being quite a bit of a workaholic, wondered what was I going to do with my spare time? One of the hobbies I had as teenage was sewing. I used to take hems up for people, I even made myself a dress and a dressing gown and a couple of skirts. That went by the way when I was working full time.
But now here I was with lots of time on my hands. So, I re-enrolled at a sewing class to catch up on all the new ways of making things and especially putting in zips which I hate. But, you know, I've made a skirt, made cushion covers and things like that. I also tend to make most of my Christmas presents for friends and families. And one year I decided to make everybody aprons and I just loved the Sophie Allport fabrics.
So I went online to find the best priced fabrics that I could buy for Sophie Allport and found Just Fabrics and I've never looked back. I've always used them now for my projects. I make bags, I make peg bags, tote bags, lunch bags, cushion covers. I've even had a go at making curtains, which is not my forte I have to say.
So my recent project was using the Alpaca fabric behind me, and I made two beach bags, one for my daughter and one for friends, and they loved them. So I'm really please, so I bought more of the Alpaca fabric, as you can see.
