How to use the clip on eyelet rings First published on 19th December 2018 by Alice (Updated 8th February 2019) A guide to using the clip on eyelet rings RingsThe rings are designed for use with lightweight to medium fabrics. When selecting your fabric and lining please consider the overall thickness, as it will be more difficult to clip the eyelet together the thicker the combination of fabric and lining. Avoid placing the eyelets on a seam. step oneOpen the rings by inserting a small flat head screwdriver into the notch on the ring and carefully ease apart. step twoNow the ring is separated, using a sharp pair of scissors (and with the right side of the fabric facing you), carefully cut away the fabrics and eyelet reinforcement if used away from the inside the eyelets. Do not worry about fraying, the rings will hide any untidy edges. step threePlace the side of the ring with the spikes on to the front of the fabric. step fourPlace the other side of the ring at the back of the fabric and clip firmly together, make sure the fabric is flat and not tucked up anywhere. Repeat across the curtain. Care instructionsFollowing the care instructions for your curtain fabric. Before cleaning, gently remove the Aura Eyelet Rings from the curtains by easing the rings away with a small flat head screwdriver, applying gentle leverage.
