Pinterest top interior trends 2019

Pinterest is a resource that many of us turn to when looking for ideas and inspiration for decorating our homes; it is a great tool for curating ideas on boards for individual rooms or projects.

People use Pinterest to get their house feeling more like home. Pinterest has shared its top trends for 2019, including the top interior trends. In this article we’ll explore these new interior trends and how we can help you incorporate them into your home.

Mustard Yellow Fabric

This warm and bold colour is being highly searched for, thanks to its appearance on the catwalks. Mustard yellow or it’s other monikers of ochre, burnt, and gold is a top interior trend. One way to try out this colour is with small accents such as a throw or cushions. The Vienna gold throw would add a pop of yellow. Our Monika Leighton chair in ochre is in a lovely mustard yellow pattern. You could use the Cotswold Velvet in Turmeric for a pop of mustard yellow (the FR version would look fabulous covering an armchair). Blossom fabric in ochre has a foliage pattern in a metallic sheen over an ochre back cloth or the Bloom linen fabric for a floral yellow. The Chalfont collection also has a variety of fabrics that use a strong mustard yellow throughout.

Geometric Fabric

Geometric shapes are a top interior trend and continuing to be popular. We have many geometric fabrics that feature geometric designs in a variety of colours. You will love our Pane fabric which has a solid colour with a line grid pattern in a sheeny silver. You could incorporate the two trends of Geometric and Mustard Yellow as it comes in an ochre colour but also in four other contemporary colours. Another solid colour geometric fabric is the Kandinsky (pictured) with geometric triangles in a colour and silvery threads.

Cactus fabric

Another of Pinterest’s top interior trends is the cactus. Succulents and cacti have been popular in homes for a while now. The low maintenance plants are perfect for adding some greenery to your room. If you really love the cactus our Cactus fabric is the perfect choice for you. We have it in two colourways Pastel and Chambray/honey - these would make some lovely bespoke curtains or blinds.

Botanical prints are always popular; Botanica is a fabric with a fern illustrative pattern and you are sure to find a design you like in the Foliage fabric section of the website.

If you want to use one of these trends in your home interiors we have a wide range of contemporary and traditional designs of fabrics for your curtains, blinds or furniture.
