Showroom Manager in Cheltenham
Rate: £30,000 per annum
Job Summary: To manage the Cheltenham Showroom and its team to ensure that sales targets are reached and all employees provide a high level of customer service and care at all times. To ensure that stock levels are maintained and customer orders are placed in a timely manner and managed through out.
Job responsibilities:
- Maximise all sales opportunities for the Showroom.
- Provide efficient and professional customer service at all times and maintain a customer friendly environment
- To recruit, manage, motivate and train the sales team so that a high level of sales and customer service is maintained and they are able to carry out their duties to a high standard.
- To compile employee rotas so that there is adequate cover at all times.
- Produce (with the support of your team), eye catching window displays that reflect the marketing activities of the company.
- Liaise with the Workroom Manager and other members of the JF team so that customer orders can be completed in a timely manner, advising customers of any delays.
- Ensure that the premises are opened on time ready for business and closed securely at the end of the day.
- Ensure systems & procedures are adhered to e.g. banking, end of day etc.
- Enable team members to maintain an in-depth product knowledge on all design options, fabrics designs etc to be then able to advise customers on their needs, to then be able to maximise every sales opportunity.
- To ensure all quantities of fabric are cut correctly and calculated.
- Ensure that customer payments are made on time and accurately and securely processed.
- To ensure stock is accurately controlled with the minimum waste as possible.
- Manage customer complaints to resolution.
- To take an active and positive part in any company meetings.
Previous experience in a similar fabric/textile business is essential.
