Alice has a passion for travel, textiles, food and sunshine!
I have always wanted to work with fabrics for interiors, the amazing creative things that people can make with just a small bit of fabric is wonderful. I remember creating room plans and scheme boards for my brother and sisters as a child and knowing that this was what I wanted to do. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Contemporary Textiles as well as a City and Guilds qualification in Creative Techniques for Interior Design. Whenever I have a free moment I love to create 3D artwork from fabric and give it a new identity.
I think the world is there to be explored and find the sights, smells, textures and customs that you experience when in a different culture very inspiring. My home is full of bags of fabrics from all over the globe waiting to be transformed into something beautiful, whether that be a cushion or a piece of art! I have been fortunate enough to visit some incredible places and I think this shows in my design choices.
Favourite Fabric – Hard to choose just one, but I love Puffin / Black fabric!
Favourite Cushion – Definitely Angus the cow, can’t resist his lovely face!
Favourite Furniture – I absolutely love the Clarke and Clarke Statement Chairs that we have and the Monika Leighton Ochre is my favourite.
