A small-scale, teardrop-inspired design with a softly marbled effect. Irregular and expressive, with a subtle sheen and dry, textured handle, perfect for curtains, blinds and upholstery.

From the Oakham Weaves collection by Scion, Sorrel draws inspiration from the delicate shape of the sorrel leaf, interpreted through a marbling technique reminiscent of scattered raindrops. The result is an irregular, small-scale pattern of dots and soft teardrops that creates gentle movement across the fabric. Woven in chenille, it balances a quiet sheen with a pleasing dryness, giving the surface both depth and tactile interest.

Crafted from a considered blend of viscose, cotton and polyester, Sorrel combines softness with durability, making it a versatile choice for a range of interior projects. It works beautifully as curtains or Roman blinds, where the subtle pattern adds texture without dominating the room. On upholstery, it lends a refined finish to armchairs, bedroom chairs or a window seat, while cushions made in Sorrel layer effortlessly with stripes, geometrics or larger-scale prints.

Its understated rhythm and softly reflective surface bring warmth and character to contemporary and relaxed interiors alike.
