How to use clip on eyelet rings

This is a guide for how to put eyelets into fabric with our new clip on eyelets.

These clip on curtain eyelet rings can be used without eyelet pliers or special tool. The rings are designed for use with lightweight to medium fabrics. They are a 2 part ring set recommended for use with poles of 28mm diameter.

If you are wondering how many eyelets per curtain you will need, when placing the 36mm Eyelet Rings we recommend 9 rings per metre (approx. 2 times fullness) but don’t forget when calculating how many rings you require, you should always add up to an even number for each curtain. If you use an odd number of rings the outer edges of your curtain will not hang correctly on the pole.

The rings are designed for use with lightweight to medium fabrics. When selecting your fabric and lining please consider the overall thickness, as it will be more difficult to clip the eyelet together the thicker the combination of fabric and lining.

Avoid placing the eyelets on a seam. With these DIY clip on eyelet rings there is no need for eyelet pliers or an eyelet tool.
